DualTrans Terms of Service

Welcome to the DualTrans browser extension and web services (collectively referred to as the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the DualTrans team ("we" or "us"). Please read these terms carefully before installing our extension or subscribing to any plan.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing DualTrans from the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons store, or our official website, or by signing in to an account, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please stop using the service and uninstall the extension immediately.

2. Account Registration and Usage

• The Service authenticates users via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials.
• A DualTrans subscription account is intended for personal use by the subscriber across a reasonable number of devices (e.g., home and office computers). Renting, reselling, or sharing accounts publicly with unauthorized third parties is prohibited.
• If abnormal high-frequency script calls or abuse are detected, we reserve the right to limit or suspend the affected account.

3. Pro Subscription and Billing

DualTrans provides a Free tier and a paid Pro subscription tier:

• Service Scope: Pro members enjoy zero-configuration official cloud AI translation (DeepSeek, Gemini, Claude, etc.), 10,000,000 monthly tokens, video dual subtitles, and VIP acceleration.
• Billing Cycles: Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual recurring basis. Annual plans offer significant cost savings.
• Quota Resets: Monthly cloud AI token quotas reset at the beginning of each billing cycle and do not roll over to subsequent months.

To maintain low latency and fair system availability for all users, you agree to comply with the following fair use guidelines:

• You may not use automated scraper scripts or reverse engineer DualTrans cloud translation endpoints for public proxies or external commercial APIs.
• You may not use the translation service for illegal activities, malicious attacks, privacy violations, or distribution of unlawful content.

6. Disclaimer for Custom API Keys (BYOK)

DualTrans allows users to configure their own API keys (OpenAI, DeepSeek, Claude, Gemini, etc.). You understand and agree that custom API fees are billed directly to you by the respective provider. DualTrans assumes no liability for service interruptions, provider rate-limiting, network instability, or account suspensions originating from third-party AI platforms.

7. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

All client-side code, trademarks, designs, and brand assets of DualTrans are the property of the DualTrans development team. The original web text and translated outputs belong to you and the respective original copyright holders. DualTrans claims no ownership rights over your translated content.
